During December 12-16, 2022, the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics of the Technical University of Moldova, in collaboration with its strategic partners, including IAW Internationale Akademie, organized the 11th edition of the “Earth Rover: Innovation Challenge – 2022” Student Competition – a contest in the field of mobile robotics, environmental monitoring, IoT technologies and services.
The competition accepted 6 teams made up of FCIM students from the Robotics and Mechatronics, Computers and Networks, Automatics and Informatics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies, Applied Informatics and Information Technologies study programs.
According to the established requirements, the projects were to be developed strictly during the contest (3 days), based on a collection of devices provided by the organizers. The theme of the project should be closely related to the given topic: “A clean environment – a healthy life”.
The process of project development was carried out in the laboratories and technical creativity rooms of FCIM. The final results were presented by the team members on December 16, 2022.
In these by no means simple times, reasons for pride are particularly valuable. The participation of young people has filled us with optimism for a beautiful future.
